In 1960, Fairway Chevy was opened in Freeland by founder Albert A. Corazza with just four employees, offering the classic models of the day like Chevy Impalas, Biscaynes, and Corvairs. Thanks to Albert's relentless optimism, the business grew rapidly, leading to the expansion into Hazleton in 1965.
Following Albert's unexpected passing in 1974, his wife Laura took control, successfully guiding the business forward. Growth exploded when Laura and Albert's son, Jim, joined the family business—leading to the acquisition of our Subaru franchise in 1984. Today, with Jim's son Al onboard, Fairway Chevy proudly stands as a three-generation, family-run business offering a true hands-on approach that corporate-owned dealerships simply can't match.
